This little turtle has a lot going for it! The quilted shell is awesome…and I am thinking that if you snapped it onto the body {instead of stay stitches} you could make more than one shell and have them interchangeable! I am dying over that idea right now!!
The little quilted top is simple to piece and really would make a great way to use a handful of scrap fabrics.
The turtle pattern has a few hand drawn instructions to go along with the template which are printable. The body is a simple shape {only one piece for the front, one for the back} then the shell is stay stitched in place. This might be a good one for the little kiddos to try out the sewing machine on.
